In Gidea Park we offer Digital Retinal Imaging - photographs will be taken of the back of your eyes, without the need for drops to dilate the pupil unless it is very small or too much cataract is present.  This will give an enhanced view of your retinae to aid in the early detection of potentially sight threatening changes. The camera used is the same as required for Diabetic Screening.

Your photographs will be held on file to enable comparison at future examinations.
