The practice was established by my grandfather, Richard Baxendine, in Victoria Road, Romford in 1921. He was joined by my father, Ernest Barber, in 1947. In turn I worked with my father for short periods in 1975 and 1980. He left Victoria Road in 1988 to practise at home but unfortunately was unable to continue due to ill health. Therefore I have run the business since 1990.
I have also worked in other practices, most recently in Brentwood between 2002 and 2007.
I offer a very personal, unhurried service by
appointment only and hope that I can accommodate most requirements with regard to frames, lenses and contact lenses.
Most importantly, if you have any concerns about the health of your eyes, don't postpone a visit any longer.
