Our GP (rigid or hard) lenses are worn on a traditional basis – i.e. worn during the day and stored in solution overnight.   Soft lenses can be worn for occasional wear using 1 day lenses,   daily disposables every day, fortnightly and monthly wear stored in solution overnight, and extended wear for up to a month at a time. If your needs are more complex there are custom made lenses which last for longer periods.       Both practices are Acuvue Centres of Excellence. This description is awarded by Johnson & Johnson when they are sure that a very high standard of care is assured.  However, this does not mean that only Acuvue lenses are prescribed – the lenses suggested must be those that suit your eyes and your needs the best.
